The power plant in the Randolph County town of Baldwin plans to shut down two of its three power units. That means the loss of about 200 jobs in a town of just 400. Dynegy, which owns the plant, says it’s making the move because it just can’t afford to operate the power units. News of the shutdown of the two plant units hit Pam Shoenherr and her neighbors hard. “It’s going to be devastating,” she said. She has friends that work at the plant. With a town population of 400, most here know at least one person, maybe more, affected by the shutdown. “I just know personally, for me, it was really hard to find the job I have now so I’m going to try hold onto it with tooth and nail,” she added…
